PR Week award nomination0 01 Aug 13
A hearty pat on the back to our friends at Liverpool Community Health as their Comms and Marketing team and Splinter have been shortlisted in the category for ‘Best Internal Communications Campaign 2012/13’ in the PR week awards. Fingers crossed for a hat-trick as the Flu fighter campaign has already won a couple of awards, including the National NHS Flu fighter award.
Splinter’s Kev, who’s worked with LCH for 5 years, came up with the cheeky concept; parodying 1950′s information photos alongside humorous captions. LCH staff modeled for the campaign and our mate Matt from Dupe photographed the final campaign shots.
The campaign has been a huge success resulting in 71.6% of staff choosing to have the vaccination – up from just 47.7% the previous year.
Michelle Porteus, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development at Liverpool Community Health said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised in this year’s PR Week Awards, which is one of the PR and marketing industry’s most prestigious. We are very proud of the impact that this campaign has had, and even just to be named amongst these finalists is a huge achievement.”
The awards winners will be announced on Tuesday 22 October 2013 in the Great Room, Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London.
